PALACE INTERIOR DESIGN

Christiansborg Palace
Located in Copenhagen, Denmark. It is a masterclass in axial symmetry and monumental Neoclassical orchestration, where the spatial experience is dictated by a rigorous formal order and a sophisticated warm-spectrum chromatic strategy.
The architectural narrative is anchored by a strict bilateral symmetry that governs the placement of every structural element, from the rhythmic alignment of massive crystal chandeliers to the precise positioning of fluted marble pilasters

MORE HALLWAY DESIGN

This sense of equilibrium is most evident in the long-gallery configurations, where high-contrast flooring patterns, such as the monochrome geometric marble in the Great Hall or the intricate honey-toned oak parquet in the dining chambers, serve as a grounding datum that guides the eye toward terminal focal points.
CEILING AND LIGHTING DESIGN
The ceiling planes function as a primary decorative volume, characterized by elaborate white plaster stuccowork and deep coffering that adds a sculptural density to the upper reaches of the rooms.

OTHER SPACES INTERIOR DESIGN
Chromatically, the palace employs a palette of warm opulence, utilizing saturated vermilion fabrics and rich amber wood paneling to generate a sense of enclosure and historical weight. This warmth is punctuated by a consistent application of gold leaf gilding on moldings and cornices, which captures both natural light from high-arched apertures and the artificial glow of the chandeliers, creating a pervasive golden shimmer that unifies the diverse materials. The integration of massive Flemish tapestries into the wall paneling further enhances the room’s acoustic and visual texture, resulting in a series of highly articulated environments that balance sovereign authority with refined artisanal craftsmanship.
